Washington, D.C. — Today, the American Exploration & Production Council (AXPC) released the second episode of its podcast, Longer Laterals, featuring an in-depth conversation with EQT Corporation President and CEO Toby Z. Rice. In this episode, Rice and AXPC CEO Anne Bradbury explore the indispensable role of American natural gas in reliably powering AI, expanding access to affordable energy, and reducing emissions through innovation, as well as the urgent need for durable permitting reform that enables energy infrastructure development.
“Toby is a leading voice on how American-made natural gas can deliver affordable, reliable, and ever cleaner energy both at home and abroad,” said AXPC CEO Anne Bradbury. “Our conversation underscores the need for practical energy solutions and durable policy reforms that will allow the U.S. to meet growing global demand and stay ahead of China, all while keeping domestic energy prices low.”
“Through the Shale Revolution, the oil and natural gas industry innovated the U.S. into an energy independence powerhouse,” Rice said. “And now we’re going to meet the call again. We’re going to make sure we have the energy to win this AI race. But unfortunately, we cannot do it alone – permitting reform is absolutely critical for energy producers and the U.S. to be able to run full speed.”
New episodes of Longer Laterals will be released monthly and feature conversations with leading executives, engineers, and experts across the energy space.
