Washington, D.C. – Anne Bradbury, CEO of the American Exploration & Production Council, released the following statement in support of the House Natural Resources Committee’s reconciliation provisions. These provisions would modernize federal leasing and permitting, increase domestic energy production, and generate significant revenues for the federal government and state and local communities:
This legislation is a critical step toward unlocking America’s energy potential by ensuring a durable, predictable framework for the development of oil and natural gas interests on federal lands.
By reopening access to our federal resources, American independent producers can do what they do best: deliver reliable, affordable, homegrown energy that supports jobs, boosts economic growth, and enhances our national security.
AXPC remains committed to advocating for policies that support responsible resource development, job creation, and long-term energy security.
