AXPC Launches Longer Laterals: A Podcast Where America’s Energy Story Meets Washington

October 8, 2025

Washington, D.C. – Today, the American Exploration & Production Council (AXPC) announced the launch of its new podcast, Longer Laterals, hosted by AXPC CEO Anne Bradbury. The series will feature in-depth conversations with key players from America’s independent producers to explore the technologies, policies, and people shaping our nation’s energy future.

“This is where America’s energy story meets Washington,” said Anne Bradbury, CEO of AXPC. “Every day, independent producers are drilling smarter, going farther, and delivering the energy that fuels our economy and strengthens our national security. This podcast is about diving into that world, talking tech, policy, production, and pressure points, through conversations with the people who live it.”

The debut episode features Travis Stice, Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors at Diamondback Energy and a longtime oil and natural gas industry leader with nearly four decades of experience. Stice has played a pivotal role in shaping the Permian Basin into a powerhouse of American energy and brings deep perspective on the evolution of the Shale Revolution.

Episode one explores:

  • The transformation of U.S. energy production over the last four decades
  • What “longer laterals” mean for efficiency, innovation, and resource development
  • How policy decisions in Washington impact investment and production on the ground

New episodes of Longer Laterals will be released monthly and feature conversations with leading executives, engineers, and experts across the energy space.
