WASHINGTON – Today, the American Exploration & Production Council (AXPC), the trade group of America’s leading independent oil and natural gas producers, welcomed Zach Gillan as Vice President of Communications. Gillan joins AXPC from S-3 Group, where he served as Vice President of Strategic Communications.
“Zach brings over a decade of high-stakes strategic communications experience in public policy, issue advocacy, and national politics to our team,” said AXPC CEO Anne Bradbury. “His expertise will strengthen AXPC’s ability to advocate for policies that keep American-made energy reliable, affordable, and sustainable. Previously, Gillan served as Vice President of Strategic Communications at S-3 Group, where he was responsible for leading clients’ issue advocacy programs. Prior to S-3 Group, he managed political and issue advocacy research for the Congressional Leadership Fund and American Action Network. Gillan also held positions at the National Republican Senatorial Committee over three election cycles.
Gillan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Hamilton College.
