Washington, D.C. – Today, American Exploration & Production Council (AXPC) CEO Anne Bradbury issued the following statement on the Trump administration’s decision to temporarily waive Jones Act requirements for 60 days to accelerate domestic energy flows:
“AXPC applauds the Trump administration’s decision to temporarily waive Jones Act requirements to accelerate the flow of domestic energy and other critical products during this period of global disruption. American-made energy is our buffer against global energy shocks, and this smart, market-based action takes an important step towards insulating consumers at home from global price volatility.”
